COVID-19 Update from Steve the Window Guy _ 3-13-20
/We share your concerns about Coronavirus. Your family’s health and comfort are at the heart of our business so as the effects of COVID-19 have an increased effect on our communities we want to know we get it.
As a small family owned and operated business this can be an especially concerning. It is critically important for us to walk the line between managing customer expectations and slowing the spread of the virus through social distancing. Partner businesses have assisted with some of this, by postponing Home Improvement Fairs that were scheduled for this weekend. This allows us to limit social interactions in the present, while still being able to meet with interested homeoners later this spring when the shows are rescheduled.
What follows are a few immediate steps that Steve the Window Guy has taken to keep our employees and customers healthy while maintaining business operations.
No one in this office has been on a plane or travelled outside MN in the last month.
Currently all installs are continuing as scheduled.
All orders are being placed and the factory is functioning on schedule.
Steve is currently the only one going in to homes and he has not exhibited any symptoms. He is eliminating any non essential social interaction. He is committed to following the community mitigation guideline of staying 6 feet away from homeowners while in the home.
We have increased the frequency of hand washing, we have hand sanitizer in his sales vehicle and if we see any symptom arise in him we will postpone face to face meetings.
We are prepared to host virtual product demos and sales presentations in the event that is needed.
Kasey and Melissa are mothers with school aged children. They have a plan for work that can be done at home and are fully prepared to work remotely in the event local school districts choose to engage in distance learning. They will remain available via phone call, email and text.
We are continuing our 1:1 interviews and are planning to begin a training class on March 23. There are plans in place for virtual training.
In addition, we ask for your help. If you are not feeling well, if anyone in your home is exhibiting symptoms of if you have been in close contact with someone that has exhibited symptoms please do call to reschedule your appointment.
We believe that relationships are more important than transactions. Thank you for working along with us to reduce exposure to all of our at risk populations.
