Friday Things - June 19, 2020
/Does it still feel like a finish line to you each time Friday rolls around? I do. Do you still look forward to the weekend even when you don’t have plans? I do.
We have hit our summer stride and are making up for lost time, it feels like. The office has reorganized slightly with Kasey in the office taking care of all the day to day work. And… happily she is back to 5 days a week. Melissa is still at home most of the time so has shifted to more behind the scenes operational work and a heavier focus on marketing. Steve is still Steve. Running appointments, answering questions, working with installers and doing his best every day to get it all done. WE ARE HIRING. And excited to meet our next great salesman.
Some of the home shows from this spring that were cancelled are being rescheduled for this summer… including one tomorrow and one next week. Can you believe it? People are just starting to venture out and go to a restaurant or get their haircut and the home show promoters are opening the doors wide. They have all the right COVID precautions in place, we just wonder if the timing will produce a successful show. I honestly don’t believe it will but would love to be proved wrong.
FATHER’S DAY!!!! Perhaps Steve working the show on Saturday is a good opportunity for us to make plans to celebrate him. Who has a good idea for me?
