Need a Window Expert and Dealer?
/Nobody wants to call a window guy. It's just another task on your already long list of things to do. Moreover, you probably dread the time the entire endeavor will take—especially as these days it can feel impossible to get someone to call you back and schedule an appointment for a window estimate.
So, why does it feel like the quality of customer service has taken a recent nosedive?
Of course, we can't speak for every window replacement company, but we can tell you that when you work with Steve the Window Guy, quality is what you can always expect.
After all, that's just how we do business.
Your #1 Window Replacement Professional
When you request a consultation with our team, our goal is simple: we want you to feel excited about the prospect of new windows, and how they will increase the value of your home—not to mention help you save on utilities each month.
We’re homeowners like you, which means we understand the struggle of home maintenance.
So, when you hire us to provide you with an estimate for window replacement, you can rest assured that you won’t find any gimmicks or sales talk. Instead, you’ll speak to real people who want to find you the best solution possible at an affordable rate.
What to Expect During Your Window Consultation
When we arrive at your home, we want to sit down with you to discuss the project and hear more about your goals, so we can help you make the right decision.
We’ll ask you the following questions:
What is your dream scenario?
Are you replacing all the windows or just a few?
Are you interested in siding updates?
How is your roof holding up?
Are you driven by curb appeal and energy savings, or are you strictly working off a budget?
Are you interested in financing this project?
Next, we’ll show you some product samples to inspire your design. We believe this helps our customers visualize the many possibilities available to them.
As you can see, a lot of information needs to be covered, which is why we like to have this conversation with both homeowners.
Next Steps
With your information, we can get to the fun part of designing the project and presenting you with a competitive estimate. During this conversation, we'll answer all your questions and help you feel confident about moving forward.
Of course, you don't need to worry about a 4-hour sales pitch, either. Our job is to help you make the right decision for you, not try to sell you services you don't need or products you don't want.
Why Is Steve the Window Guy Different?
We get this question a lot, and while there are tons of reasons why we're different from big-box companies, it really boils down to our commitment to relationships and quality customer service.
We pride ourselves on building lasting connections and trust with our customers. We want you to love looking at your new windows and siding, and we also want to be a referral for your friends and loved ones.
To gain your trust, we strive for quality in the products we sell, the employees we train, and the direct communication you receive during the entire process.
Let's face it. Good service is hard to come by these days.
I bet you have your own tales of horror, but let me tell you what happened to me recently to prove this point.
I needed to buy a laminate countertop for a small kitchen. I made my selection and was committed to purchasing it. However, I wanted the installation to occur within ten weeks—which was appropriate timing from what I had heard. So, I went into a big box store and asked if they were doing in-person estimates on laminate countertops.
They said they were.
My response: "Great! When is your first available appointment?"
Their response: "Oh, no. We need you to get some graph paper and sketch out the kitchen first, and then after that, we’ll come out and give you an exact price."
Wait, I thought. I'm not an expert on measuring. I need them to do that, especially since I would hire them to complete the project.
As it turns out, they "could" do the final measurement after being prompted. But when I asked when I could schedule that, they presented me with the same dilemma.
I first needed to sketch the kitchen for the estimator to even look at it.
The reason? According to the sales person, I needed to demonstrate that I was serious about the project, which meant it would be worth their time to provide a bid.
My response: "Goodbye!"
Well, my friends, that scenario is just one example of how we differ from a big box chain.
Our Window Guy Commitment:
We believe you when you call to tell us you want an estimate on a window, siding, or roofing replacement.
We don't think you'd create a bunch of work for yourself and carve out time in your schedule to invite a salesperson into your home if you weren’t interested in getting a price to get the job done.
We also know you will continue the work if the price is right.
Testing you isn’t part of the equation—ever!
Sure, we meet with people who have no idea what pricing is, and yes they can get sticker shock and not buy. That's ok. They were still serious about getting a price, and we still did our job by sharing information on our products and listening to what they wanted.
We trust that you mean it when you say you want an estimate, and we don’t require you to make a buying decision before seeing an exact estimate.
We don’t believe it's a waste of our time to discuss what you want, share information on our products, and give you an estimate.
